10月20日下午，山西省发改委相关人员带领国家发改委产业所相关专家，来我区半导体园区开展“太忻经济区”空间布局与产业发展研究工作调研，开发区党工委书记、管委会主任刘明祥参加了此次调研活动。
调研考察团一行来到半导体产业园，在听取了刘明祥书记对半导体园区整体情况介绍后，来到园区企业忻州中科晶电信息材料有限公司、山西华晶恒基新材料有限公司生产车间，实地查看了生产工艺、产品种类，向企业负责人详细了解企业产品销售情况及未来市场前景等情况。
